What was 2025 like? Intense. Thrilling at times. And, in the end, very rewarding.
The grape harvest lasted 59 days. The weather posed more challenges this year than last—we postponed the harvest several times, waiting for the right moment. It paid off. The harvest was very good and also abundant in terms of volume. In total, we harvested 25 varieties.
The cellar gradually filled up—18 barrels, 23 stainless steel tanks, 3 concrete eggs, and 1 granite vat. We pressed the last grapes of the vintage, Merlot from the Plotny vineyard, after 99 days of maceration on the skins. Patience is sometimes the most important thing.
But the year wasn't just about the vineyard and the cellar. We held 12 tastings at our winery and organized another 20 off-site. We participated in 7 festivals and organized 4 events of our own.
Over the course of the year, we gradually bottled the individual batches during several bottling sessions. We had 45 wines for sale—30 dry, 9 semi-dry, and 6 semi-sweet. Some of the wines sold out very quickly after they went on sale. And that, for us, is the best feedback we could ask for.
Now, here's a quick question: Which variety was our best-selling one in 2025?
