2025: 59 days of grape harvest, 99 days on the skins, and lots of encounters

What was 2025 like? Intense. Exciting at times. And ultimately very rewarding.

The harvest lasted 59 days. The weather tested us more this year than last year—we postponed the harvest several times and waited for the right moment. It paid off. The harvest was very good and also abundant in volume. We harvested a total of 25 varieties.

The cellar gradually filled up – 18 barrels, 23 stainless steel tanks, 3 concrete eggs, and 1 granite tank. We pressed the last grapes of the vintage, Merlot from the Plotny vineyard, after 99 days of maceration on the skins. Patience is sometimes the most important thing.

But the year wasn't just about the vineyard and the cellar. We held 12 tastings at our winery and organized another 20 outside the winery. We participated in 7 festivals and organized 4 events of our own.

Over the course of the year, we gradually bottled individual batches during several bottling days. We had 45 wines on sale—30 dry, 9 semi-dry, and 6 semi-sweet. Some wines sold out very quickly after being put on sale. And that is the best feedback for us.

Now, a quick question: Which variety was the best-selling one in our country in 2025?

You can find the correct answer HERE.
