We would like to introduce you to a category of wines that we are proud of and wines from this category make ideal gifts for your friends and corporate clients.
We regularly enter our wines in renowned competitions to confirm that we are moving in the right direction and that our wines will stand up to our and international competition. This category confirms that we are succeeding. Thanks to its consistently excellent results, our winery has repeatedly won the title of Best Winery at the Prague Wine Trophy (2021, 22 and 23).

Frankovka 2023, selection of grapes
Perfectly matured raw material from the vineyard route Dunajovský kopec, in oak barrel until August this year and freshly available in bottle. Riesling sur-lie 2023, late harvest
Top variety of our winery, which "slept in the covers". Our Adriana likes to use the phrase, "sleeping in blankets" for these wines, which poetically describes the fact that in the sur-lie method the wine lies on the yeast lees - imaginary "pillows". We're all in favour of swapping the lees for a blanket. Beautiful!
Sur-lie (read sür ly) is a technology of aging wine on fine lees. The wine is left on the yeast (or lees) for a certain period of time. After the yeast has converted the sugar into alcohol, it decomposes and sinks to the bottom. The wine is first racked off the coarse lees, the fine lees remain and the wine continues to age on them and is stirred periodically. The resulting wine becomes more aromatic, fuller, more complex. The magic is in how often you stir.
The wine was then aged in oak barrels for just under 11 months and now we present it to you in ideal condition. Further bottle ageing will only do it good, so if you can resist, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how beautifully it can age.
