We're harvesting grapes for the new sparkling wine

The story of our new sparkling wine begins. We are currently harvesting Chardonnay and White Ruland for sparkling wine.

In 2020, based on our experience with our sparkling wines and their success on the market, we decided to venture into the production of traditional, bottle-fermented sparkling wine.

We decided that we would only produce sparkling wine in vintages that allow us to source the highest-quality grapes. And while in 2020 we harvested the grapes on October 2, this year we did so as early as the end of August. Here, the first fermentation is underway, followed by the preparation for the second fermentation, which is already taking place in the sparkling wine cellar. We have work ahead of us, and you have three years to look forward to.

Make the wait more enjoyable with our 2020 sparkling wine. We’ve bottled 1,055 bottles of this elegant vintage extra brut sparkling wine, with delicate aromas of citrus zest, fruit, marzipan, and butter cookies. On the palate, it will enchant you with its fresh yet gentle acidity and a subtle salty note (so characteristic of our wines thanks to the subsoil, which was once the seabed). It was also recognized by the Prague Wine Trophy jury, where it won a Prague Gold award.

For those who love numbers: 80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Blanc, residual sugar 3.0 g/l, acidity 5.0 g/l, alcohol 11%, 20-year-old vineyard, harvested on October 2, 2020, bottled on March 25, 2023.

And here’s an important equation to wrap things up: 1,055 bottles = 1,055 joyful gatherings, celebrations, family dinners, lavish breakfasts, and many times more smiles and joy.

Cheers, friends! With a glass of our sparkling wine, which you can order here or purchase from our retailers at wine shops.
