Time is running like crazy, in the words of Karel Gott's song, and we have the results of this year's first round of the Prague Wine Trophy. We haven't even had time to enjoy all the glory of last year's competition, which was concluded with a ceremony in March this year, and we won the title of Best Winery 2024 on top of all those medals.
We believe that you will celebrate as much as we do, because from this first competition alone - where the varietal categories always include not only Moravian and Czech wines, but also foreign ones - we took home six medals, and not just any medals. Three are the highest possible - Prague Premium Gold and three golden - Prague Gold.
Combined with the fact that these are awards for some of your favourite varieties, you can expect the wines to fly out to you even faster than usual. The results are very fresh, so the bottle stickers - the medallions - are just coming in, but you can order the wines now.
And now the winners will be announced!
Prague Premium Gold is awarded to:
Irsai Oliver 2024, cabinet wine varietal, dry, Zimní vrch - Vinařství Baláž
Kerner 2024, late harvest, dry, Zimní vrch - Vinařství Baláž

and Prague Gold are awarded:
