With the summer holidays, our adjusted opening hours have ended. From September we are open again on weekdays from 8 am to 3 pm. We will be happy to accommodate you outside these hours by prior arrangement.

The story of the new sect begins. We are currently harvesting Chardonnay and Ruland Blanc for sparkling wine. In 2020, we have decided to venture into traditional sparkling wines as a new line of our winery.

The heat is good for the grapes and they are ripening. The vintage at the Baláž Winery is approaching. Today we checked the ripeness of the grapes in the vineyard, which is measured in degrees of sugar content of the CNM.

This year we also participated in the King of Wines 2024 competition. We are proud that the collection of medals that our winery has won is truly royal.

During the summer months, we are in the winery every day from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays, the purchase of wine is possible by prior telephone agreement.

The Průhonice Wine Trail will take place this weekend in Průhonice Park. We will take part in the event together with our friendly winemakers from the Dunajovské hills association.

We would love to welcome you to our winery and we hope that, especially in the summer months, you will find the time to come and visit us in Dolní Dunajovice. We are also not lazy and we are coming to you.

Wines aged in concrete barrels are already an established novelty on our wine market. We have been offering them for several years and they are very popular with you.

We are currently going to the Prima Fresh Festival in Pilsen, which will take place in the park behind the OC Plzeň Plaza on 18-19 May. Come and taste our wines.

For Easter we are putting on sale the first wines of the 23rd vintage. Starting with early varieties, these are also your favourite white wines and will be among the first to sell out.

Today we bottled the first new wines of the 2023 vintage. It was cold, a couple of degrees above zero, but you can see in the photos that we were happy to get everything done and celebrate!

PRAGUE WINE TROPHY is an international wine competition for wines from wine regions around the world. In terms of the number of samples evaluated, it is the largest international wine competition in the Czech Republic.

Books and wine have a lot in common and we believe that they can make you happy and stop time in its tracks for a while. That is why we have become a partner of the competition.

The appeal is a call for us winemakers to negotiate such conditions for doing business so that we can continue to work honestly and hard, not be burdened with paperwork, and have the same conditions as other winemakers in Europe.

Whether you choose our classic Franka or Merlot and Ruland Blue in any of our lines, we are pleased to offer you red wines made from quality, mature grapes.

Tramínovice or our "Danube grappa". Why did we decide to produce it? Our wine travels often take us abroad. So why not try grappa when we have the raw materials for it?

At the beginning of 2024, we will release the Tannowitz red wine series. For this range, we produce wines only in the best vintages, from the best grapes.

It is the dream of every winemaker that his work and time, which he spends all year round in that beautiful, original product - a bottle of wine, can then end up on the table as a companion to a good meal.

On 23 November 2023, the Internet Effectiveness Awards 23 online project competition was held in Prague and our winery was a proud partner of the event.

The grape harvest marks the end of our hard, year-long work in the vineyard and the beginning of new work in the cellar. So for us, the harvest is actually the end and the beginning at the same time.

The story of Dunajovský Vlašák or if you want original local wine from the Baláž Winery. Dunajovský Vlašák is the story of a wine that has a clear origin and yet crosses the borders of individual wineries.

In the international wine competition, the Prague Wine Trophy, we won an award for our wines. Four Premium Gold medals and four Gold medals. The winery was awarded the title of The Best Winery.

Our first beautifully adjusted vintage sparkling wine, Cuvée Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc, extra brut 2020. We will only produce it in selected vintages that allow us to obtain the highest quality raw material.
